I began my working life as a Human Resources Manager and then as a Teacher before an enforced “career break” thanks to an international move with my husband’s job finally gave me the once in a lifetime opportunity that I had been looking for……....the time, money and energy to do exactly what I wanted in life - work with dogs!I went straight back to school and started studying with the Animal Care College in the UK where I completed three Canine Psychology courses and am currently learning about Canine Nutrition. In 2006, I was accepted onto the prestigious International Dog Trainer’s School run by Sheila Harper, one of the leading Dog Trainers and Behaviourists in the UK. Learning about Sheila’s unique approach to working with dogs was nothing short than a life changing experience.During my time studying, I also accumulated plenty of practical experience. I ran a dog activity group called “K9 Kapers” while in Malaysia and worked with Bernice Muntz at the Hondenschool Vlietstede for nearly 3 years while in Holland. I also competed in the Dutch National Flyball league and in Doggiedance competitions with my own dog Elgin, who now is enjoying a well earned retirement.I realised my dream when I returned to France permanently, in September 2006, and set up my own dog owner's training school “Dog’sCool”, using a truly positive approach.I live in Asnières sur Seine, with my French husband Michel, Elgin the dog and Suka and Dotty the cats.
