Dog’s Cool is all about learning to live in perfect harmony with your dog. Every dog is unique and its well being is our top priority.
Professionally trained in England and with 4 year’s experience, I use gentle, kind, reward based methods to help you train your dog and build a better understanding of canine behaviour and language. It is not necessary to shout or hit your dog to make yourself understood.
I have a strong commitment to up-dating my knowledge and therefore think and work in a different way, using the latest scientific research, which is starting to question our understanding of “dominance” in the dog "pack" and the use of punishment as a way of training dogs and changing behaviour.

Come and learn with a qualified trainer of both people and dogs.

Dog and Dog Owner’s Training
Helping you to teach your dog different life skills such as "walking without pulling" or "come" and providing practical information about all aspects of caring for your dog.

The training sessions are:

  • One to one so that you and your dog can concentrate and learn in a stress free environment.
  • Take place in and around your home.
  • Tailor-made to meet your exact dog training needs and personal schedule.
  • Owners are always present; but all the family is welcome, thus enabling you to continue the life long training of your own dog.

Dogs of all breeds and ages are welcome. It’s never too early or late to learn! (Puppies are accepted at 10 weeks).

Behaviour Problems
Does your dog bark or chew incessantly? Become aggressive in certain situations? Act up? Nip? Have separation anxiety? Or is he nervous or shy?

The majority of problem behaviours can be completely solved or at worse dramatically improved by following the advice given during a behaviour consultation.  A group of three sessions is usually enough for all but the most severe problems.

  • In the first session, an in-depth interview will look at all aspects of the dog’s life and its relationship with your family.
  • Practical advice is given along with a tailor made behaviour programme.
  • The two follow-up sessions are used to offer further support, make other changes if necessary and monitor progress.
  • After each session you will receive a written report detailing our discussion.
  • I generally work closely with vets and with your permission will keep them up to date on our progress together.

Unique Group Classes
I also offer group classes “with a difference”. In small groups of 2-4 dogs you can take part in the following:

  • Just for Fun: Do you want to play games other than “fetch” and “tug”? Then this is the course for you, a variety of fun, mentally stimulating activities for you and your dog. Mental Stimulation is more tiring than physical activity and can help your dog boost his or her self confidence.
  • Fun Doggy Dancing: Learn how to dance with your dog! Twist, weave and build a partnership.
  • Fun Nosework: Teach your dog to follow a trail, play cards, backtrack to find lost articles or even to find you hidden in the woods.
  • Educational Walks: Develop your “doggie” observational skills. Practice your dog handling skills in real life situations with exercises such as “come”. Good socialisation for your dog.

Each group class runs for 4 weeks and takes place in the Bois de Boulogne, either near Porte Dauphine or Porte de la Muette.
NB: You have to have taken at least one private lesson before being admitted to these classes. I have to know a little bit about you and your dog to be able to place you both in a compatible group.
